Deslauriers Buckles Bellemare With Uppercut [Fight]

Nicolas Deslauriers caught Pierre-Edouard Bellemare with a Mortal Kombat-esque uppercut during the first period of the Ducks vs Avalanche game.

Rickard Rakell scored with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime, giving the Anaheim Ducks a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night. Rakell’s shot was a deflection off the stick of Avs Samuel Girard.

Nicolas Deslauriers squared off against Pierre-Edouard Bellemare during at the 10 minute mark in the first period. Both landed a few punches, but Deslauriers would come out on top after landing a jab to the jaw followed by a uppercut. Bellemare had to retreat to the dressing room with a cut and the Deslauriers was sent to the box of shame. Bellemare and Deslauriers were each given 5-minutes for fighting.

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks beat  the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in OT.
