Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby will make his return to the line-up in Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Wild at PPG Paints Arena.

Crosby had been dealing with a sports hernia since training camp but managed to stick it out for the first quarter of the regular season. He then left the game aginst the Chicago Blackhawks with what the team described as a lower-body injury after playing one shift during the third period. He appeared to catch his skate awkwardly while trying to avoid a check from Eric Gustafsson, and the defenseman's leg made contact with his.

Crosby has not played since Nov. 9 and during that time, the Penguins went 18-6-4 and currently sit in second place of the Metropolitan Division with a 28-12-5 record and 61 points.
